A Little Advice, Please?

I'm going to depart from my normal topics this evening, and ask for help. My daughter in law's mother had a run-in with DHS today, and they're threatening to open an investigation on everyone involved in caring for two of my grandchildren, who live here with me. Mary (the other grandmother) was in their office this morning with four of her grandchildren, two of which are also mine. One of the other kids was acting up, and being an uncontrolable brat. Mary tried putting her in a chair, and standing her in a corner (where the other kids say she flopped down on the floor like a fish) and started cussing Mary. At this point Mary popped her mouth for cussing at her. Another woman in the waiting room apparently called the Child Abuse Hotline and reported her. DHS was going to have Mary arrested; called my daughter in law at work and told her to come get her kids and that Mary is not allowed to care for them. They also called the other kids' mother to come get hers. The caseworker told the girls that they were opening files not only on Mary, but also on both girls and their homes. This means that they'll be out here to my house, since they live with us. I see no reason to let any social worker into my home without a warrant and a police officer. No one in this home has done anything wrong, and I resent their intimidation tactics. I don't know any attorneys well enough to talk to one gratis, so I'm turning to my blog family for help. Can y'all give me any direction?
