Woman Arrested After Baby Left in Wal-Mart
When I saw this news item, my first thought was anger and disgust toward the young woman who left her newborn to die in a toilet. However, hard on the heels of those emotions was frustration: if she had gone THAT SAME DAY to a local baby butcher (aka abortion clinic), they would have "relieved" her of her "burden" (and about $500) and everyone would have been happy. This tragic crime is a direct result of 32 years of cheapening preborn human life and not teaching our young people that they are made in the image of God, and therefore precious beyond words.
Evolution teaches us that we are nothing more than an animal with a superior brain. If this is true, then why are we incarcerating women for doing, for free, what the baby butchers charge them for? Seems to me that I remember when Roe v. Wade was first ruled on, it was touted as the end of "back alley" abortions. Yet we hear of cases like this almost every day.
Now I just pity the young lady; she's been told by our society that she's an animal, yet she'll spend a very long time in prison, only because she followed her animal nature. I hope someone can reach her with the Gospel; she needs to know that Christ died for her, too.
